Doras, Dignity Partnership, and New Horizon invite you to attend the online launch of SaorEd, a new platform that provides free access to education and training courses for people from refugee and migrant backgrounds in Ireland.

Initial SaorEd offerings will include English language courses, information technology (IT) skills, healthcare, and career preparation courses. The courses will be mostly in English, with some in Arabic.

SaorEd is built on the Kiron online learning platform which has been designed specifically for refugees and under-served communities. The initiative is a collaborative venture by Doras, Dignity Partnership, and New Horizon. Speakers at the launch event will include Tikambechi Mwalughali who is currently living in Direct Provision, a representative of Kiron, and Enda O’Neill, Head of UNHCR Ireland.

New Horizon would like to acknowledge the generous support that we have received for this project from the Solas Mitigating against Educational Disadvantage Fund and Longford Westmeath Education and Training Board.
