Sanctuary Runners coming to the Midlands!!
Annemarie Sheehan from Sanctuary Runners Ireland is travelling from Cork to midlands this evening to launch Sanctuary Runners in Athlone tomorrow morning at the Park run.
She will visit us in Moate this evening Friday 30th June around 4.30 to drop off t-shirts and chat to anyone interested in joining. We hope to introduce everyone to the initiative at our Walk and Talk this Sunday at 11.30 and have a more official launch in a few weeks.
You might like to attend either location to meet her. Please share the posters with anyone in your networks who may be interested.

What is Athlone parkrun?
A free, fun, and friendly weekly 5k community event. Walk, jog, run, volunteer or spectate – it’s up to you!
When is it?
Every Saturday at 9:30am.
Where is it?
The event takes place at the Athlone Institute of Technology, Dublin Rd, Athlone, Co. Westmeath. See Course page for more details.
What does it cost to join in?
Nothing – it’s free! but please register before you first come along. Only ever register with parkrun once and don’t forget to bring a scannable copy of your barcode (request a reminder). If you forget it, you won’t get a time.
How fast do I have to be?
We all take part for our own enjoyment. Please come along and join in whatever your pace!
